We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

We are the 41st Epping Forest Scout Group in Loughton, Essex, and everyone is welcome here. We equip young people with life skills by motivating them to do, learn, and be more. We help 100 young people aged 6 to 18 build life skills every week. Are you ready to join the adventure?

Welcome to 41st Epping Forest Scout Group

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to spend time with our friends every week, having fun, playing games, working as a team, and taking on new challenges.

Based in Loughton, Essex, part of the Royal Forest District, we meet weekly at the Loughton Methodist Church, with Epping Forest only a few minutes’ walk away, as well as Gilwell Park in Chingford, which many consider to be the most important Scouting site, allowing us to provide fantastic activities to all of our members..

If you live in Loughton, Debden or the wider Epping Forest area, are you ready to join the adventure?
